Emeraude
Emeraude is the industry standard software for Production Log (PL) interpretation, providing a common platform for communication and interpretation between service companies and operators. All the major service providers, OPCOs and many independent operators and PL companies use Emeraude. It uses published processes that are accessible, controllable and transparent. Emeraude v2.60 is a major new release now offering a choice of processing: the 'Zoned' and the new 'Continuous' method. This latter process is based on two-step global regression that matches at all points the log data.
The handling of Multiple-Probe Tools (MPT), Schlumberger FSI and Sondex MAPS in particular, have been completely revisited to produce an open, streamlined workflow with an unparalleled range of tools for displaying, editing, controlling and handling data. A new 'Energy' temperature model has been added to simulate reservoir thermal behaviour to interpret, such as, steam injection tests, Distributed Temperature (DTS) and leaks. Additional options include multi-rate PL and SIP, water saturation (PNL) monitoring, permeability correction and formation test QAQC. With Emeraude v2.60 KAPPA re-states its permanent commitment to providing the industry with the leading PL interpretation software.
Emeraude is currently a stand-alone application that will migrate to the Ecrin environment under Generation 5.
